Ridderbush, Velda (2 SEP 1931)
A very beautiful wedding took place at Wausau at 5:30 Wednesday afternoon when Miss Velda Ridderbush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ridderbush, 102 First Ave. N., Wausau, was united in marriage to Mr. Earl Rundle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rundle of Edgar. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. Achtenberg, pastor of the First English Lutheran Church of Wausau, at the C.E. Beyreis residence, which was tastily decorated with palms, ferns, potted plants and cut flowers. The young couple were attended by Mrs. C. E. Beyreis and G. F. Ridderbush.
The bride was dressed in a gown of beige alencon lace over pale rose satin with slippers and hose to match and carried an arm bouquet of roses, asters and gladioli. The groom wore the conventional dark suit.
Immediately following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Beyreis home with covers laid for 24. The bridal couple left soon after for a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin and plan to be at their new home at Edgar after October 1st.
Mrs. Rundle needs no introduction to our readers and her many friends know her choice to be wise and join us in offering heartiest congratulations and wishes for many years of happiness and success.
Out of town guests present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rundle and sons, Elroy and Ralph of Edgar, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ridderbush and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ridderbush of Dorchester, Wis.
